THE CONVERSATION FRAMEWORK

ENGAGE ASSESS REVEAL WIN

Sound prepared without sounding scripted. Ask before you explain.

STEP 1 OF 8

Prepare

Know the audience, approved lead source, reason for contact, likely concerns, and appointment objective. Check contact permissions and local outreach guidance before dialing.

Write one relevant reason for the call and two questions before you dial.

The three questions every starter answers

  1. Why are we talking?

Give an honest reason for contacting the prospect.

  2. What are we going to talk about?

Frame a short, useful conversation about their plans.

  3. What’s in it for me?

Explain why exploring the topic could help them decide.

CALL CONTROL

An objection is information.

Acknowledge → Redirect → Question

Listen for the concern underneath the words. Acknowledge it, return to the prospect’s priorities, and ask a clarifying question before responding.

“I hear you. What part of that concerns you most?”

Respect a clear request to decline or stop contact. Conversation control is not permission to pressure.
